Opel AG deal takes stickerfix™ into Europe

A new deal has been struck with Opel AG to sell stickerfix™ as a do-it-yourself repair solution through all official Opel/Vauxhall dealers in Europe.
The introduction of the innovation into dealerships from December means the timing is perfect to offer it to customers while arranging pre-winter checks on their vehicles. “This partnership with Opel AG is ready to go ahead and all Opel/Vauxhall dealers are keen to get started,” explained Phil Coady, Director Key Account Management EMEA, AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings.
“Many European car manufacturers and importers are very interested in stickerfix™ so this is a great opportunity for us to increase product exposure and contact with the end-consumers.”
Opel stickerfix™ is available in ten original Opel colors. The partnership and product launch is also being promoted through a range of marketing materials which highlight the simplicity of using stickerfix™ and feature both the AkzoNobel and Opel AG brands.
The agreement is yet another success for AkzoNobel and the launch of stickerfix™. Another accord was recently announced with KIA Europe to offer “KIA stickerfix™” through its dealerships, while all ABS bodyshops in the Netherlands have also started to provide it as an additional service to customers of insurers Inshared and Hema.
The high-tech stickerfix™ film is coated with AkzoNobel color-matched paint. The range was extended this year with the pre-coated do-it-yourself solution for the major OEM car manufacturers. stickerfix™ can be used to repair minor nicks and scratches on vehicles as well as offering a way to protect cars against minor damage in advance.
