Our Pulp & Paper Chemicals business, trading as Eka Chemicals , makes the paper industry’s favorite environmentally safe bleaching agents.
For over 100 years, Eka has been helping paper manufacturers improve their products. Today we make a range of highly effective process and performance chemicals such as sodium chlorate and hydrogen peroxide. Other products include wet strength agents, dry strength agents and coating additives.
We supply the paper industry with related systems and services. For example, we manage chlorine dioxide plants for a number of our customers. We also produce an assortment of specialty chemicals as an offshoot from our work in the pulp and paper business. These are popular in the water treatment, explosives and pharmaceutical industries.
