Welcome to the family
Remember what it was like to be the new kid at school? How difficult it was to get to know people? We do. Which is why we’ve formed “Your AkzoNobel”: to help new employees get to know each other – and their new colleagues.
What we’re trying to achieve
We want to make it easier and quicker for you to feel part of the AkzoNobel family. So we encourage you to form informal networks and help you share knowledge with other recent recruits. We can also liaise with HR and make it easier for you to discuss with your managers any problems or issues you may have.
How we’re doing it
By organizing different activities, including symposiums, lectures, social gatherings and sporting events.
Who it’s for
Your AkzoNobel is for people who’ve been working in the company for less than five years. It currently operates in the Netherlands, Sweden and India, and we plan to extend it to other territories in the near future.
