Description:
Casco Adhesives MF system 1263/9563 consists of 1263, which is a liquid melamine resin adhesive, and 9563, which is a liquid hardener.
To be used in the production of load-bearing timber structures, finger joints, duo- and trio-beams as well as I-joists, 1263 with hardener 9563 is used for applications in the wood working industry, where there is demand for light-colored glue-lines with high water and weather resistance.
Mixing Ratio: 100:30 – 100:200 (Adhesive:Hardener)
Assembly Time: 20-40 min depending on mixing ratio. 1263 with hardener 9563 is tested according to AITC D405-2008 by independent testing facilities.
It is approved according to the requirements in ASTM D2559 to be used in production of load-bearing timber structures on Southern yellow pine and Douglas Fir.
CSA 0112.9 (Boil-dry-freeze test), ASTM D1183 and ASTM D1152 have also been performed on the above mentioned wood species with passing results.
The adhesives system is also tested approved according to ASTM D7247 and CSA0112.9 creep resistance test.
When adhesive and hardener are applied separately Casco Adhesives´ Separate Ribbon Spreader 6230 is recommended.
