Air Dry Systems

AkzoNobel offers two different levels of air dry systems for use in repainting building panels in the field. TRINAR® ADS is comprised of a fluoropolymer-acrylic resin system, and is designed for application over primed, prepainted metal substrates and primed metal substrates. It is our highest quality air dry system, and it's durability will be similar to products that are factory finished with our standard TRINAR® systems.

CERAM-A-CRYL® II is a silicone-modified acrylic repaint finish ideally suited for repainting properly prepared metal building panels. It works well for repairing scratches and other imperfections that might come up during installation of building products.

Both products are for professional use only, and have strict surface preparation and application guidelines that must be followed.

Gray Tiecoat and GRIP-GARD® Washprimer are designed to help in the preparation of the surfaces to be repainted, and both are compatible with TRINAR® ADS and CERAM-A-CRYL® II.
