We are constantly striving to spread the message of sustainability and the good that can come out of it. It’s great to hear from our customers how they are implementing their own visions of sustainability, and how the products they make which use our coatings are helping.
Social Responsibility of Our Customers
We’re also very committed to the communities we do business in, and are eager to help out wherever we can. We have a worldwide initiative called the AkzoNobel Community Program, which brings together motivated employees from all over the world and gives them a chance to make a real difference.
We are constantly striving to emphasize the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility, and our desire to improve the communities we all work and live in. It’s great to hear from our customers how they are implementing their own visions of corporate social responsibility, and how they are helping out their communities and those that are less fortunate.

Metal Sales Protects Its Own Community with 3rd Donation to “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”
Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation made its third national appearance on ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” on Sunday, January 9th, and right in its own backyard. Metal Sales contributed its Vertical Seam roofing panels and trim to the garage/wrestling center of the Lampe family's new home in Louisville, KY, the city where Metal Sales is headquartered.

Drexel Metals Partners with Habitat for Humanity
Recently Drexel Metals worked on a project with Habitat for Humanity in Austin, Texas, where they donated an energy-efficient metal roof for a very deserving family. The benefits of a reflective metal roof are well-known in this hot and sunny area of Texas, and it works well with the other environmentally friendly features of this new home.
