Non-stick
For even the worst cooks
Almost everyone has one in their family. The only reason they are allowed to cook is the non-stick coating that makes cleanup easier.
To make a non-stick coating, a waterborne phenoxy resin crosslinker and a fluoro polymer is combined and then used to coat a metal substrate. After curing, the surface becomes non-stick. One issue with non-sticks coatings is they have poor resistance to scratching. Colloidal silica added to the coating composition can improve the mechanical properties and make a more durable non-stick coating. The result is a cooking surface that will last longer - maybe even long enough for them to take a cooking class?
