Bermocoll in Building
The right characteristics with Bermocoll
Wood and plant fibers are mostly made up of cellulose which is a natural polymer. When we make Bermocoll the cellulose reacts with the substituents, such as methyl, ethyl and hydroxyethyl. This process called etherfication makes Bermocoll water soluble.
We want everything in which Bermocoll is used in to last a long time. It is very important component in building products and we add it in order to increase water retention, to give a suitable consistency and to improve adhesion in cement and gypsum-based systems.
Bermocoll E grades are ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose (EHEC)
Bermocoll M grades are methyl ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose (MEHEC)
Bermocoll CCA grades are specially developed for different applications based on the EHEC technology
Bermocoll BCM/CCM/ML grades are specially developed for different applications based on the MEHEC technology
