Internal pressure

Imagine a closed cell that will create and maintain an internal pressure during the production process. This internal pressure results in good filling, low shrinkage and a smooth surface. In combination with the internal pressure the softening of the microspheres will result in good adhesion to thermoplastic material in e.g. sandwich constructions. Both expandable Expancel DU and pre-expanded Expancel DE or combinations of these can be used to create internal pressure.
