Paint
Why use Expancel in paint? Adding Expancel into your exterior or interior paint will bring many new benefits to your product. Reduced density, shortened drying time, improved matting effect, low emission of VOC and lower costs of the material to mention a few of them.
When using Expancel the weight of a paint pot can easily be reduced which in turn saves you a lot of work, energy and transportation costs. The surface finish can also be improved by adding Expancel into your product. An improved matting effect in a fine structured paint finish is one of the results of using Expancel.
Adding microspheres into your paint also reduces the VOC emission. By adding spheres, a part of the inorganic fillers can be replaced and thereby lower the needed solvent as a carrier of the binder and pigments. Paints with Expancel also achieve a high solid volume, shortens the drying time and provides good filling on uneven substrates.
