AkzoNobel food grade chelates certified under FSSC 22000

AkzoNobel’s global Chelates business is pleased to announce that its food grade chelates, used as food stabilizers and nutrient components, received the Food Safety System Certification (FSSC 22000). The FSSC 22000 is based on the internationally recognized standard ISO 22000 and the British Standards Institute (BSI) specification PAS 220. This certification has recently gained full approval by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) following an extensive benchmarking process using international standards based on industry best practices and sound science.
