AkzoNobel Increases Pricing for Trimethyl Gallium (TMGa)

Effective January 1, 2010, or as contracts allow, AkzoNobel High Purity Metalorganics (HPMO) will increase pricing of trimethyl gallium (TMGa) with 15%.

This increase is necessary to offset increasing costs of key raw materials and energy, and to support continued investment in increased production capacity. It will also enable us to keep making the substantial investments in additional bubbler fleet capacity.

AkzoNobel HPMO is a globally leading producer of TMGa and other group III MO-sources. We have recently doubled our output of TMGa in response to the sharply growing demand from the global LED industry.We are committed to keep investing in this product line, to support the future growth of our customers.
