We're ranked as one of the chemicals sustainability leaders on the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes (DJSI).
The DJSI is one of the world’s foremost sustainability indices, benchmarking the performance of leading companies. It rates companies on their environmental, social and economic performance, including forward-looking financial indicators.
The FTSE4Good Index is the European equivalent of the DJSI and is used by investors to see if a company meets globally recognized sustainability standards. Specifically, it looks at an organization’s environmental sustainability, positive relationships with stakeholders and support of universal human rights.
AkzoNobel was listed on the FTSE4Good index in 2008.
