Remote controlled chlorine production has thus become a reality thanks to the dedicated research and development by our engineers and our partners.
The development of remote controlled chlorine production represents collaboration between AkzoNobel Industrial Chemicals and the engineering and construction companies UHDENORA and Uhde. The latter two companies have established a reputation for their know-how in developing very compact and efficient electrolysis cells.
The pooling of our unique expertise has created a new milestone in chlorine production: the advent of dedicated and compact, safe and reliable production units built on the customer’s site and yet operated remotely by the chlorine expert, AkzoNobel.
