Registration
AkzoNobel Industrial Chemicals products
We have registered all substances in our products shown in the table below, before the required deadline of November 30, 2010, supporting all known major applications. The registration numbers are communicated via the extended Safety Data Sheet (e-SDS).
1) Hydrogen, as a basic elemental substance for which hazards and risks are already well known, is exempted from (pre-)registration (REACH legislation Annex V, 9).
2) Sodium chloride, as mineral occurring in nature and not chemically modified, is exempted from (pre-) registration (REACH legislation Annex V, 7). Our products, electrolysis salt and road salt, are therefore exempted under REACH.
3) For the products we intend to register as “intermediate” we will request our customers to sign a declaration of Strictly Controlled Conditions according to Art 18.4.
