Dr Sanjiv Misra
Non-Executive Director
Dr Sanjiv Misra, IAS (Retd.), has been a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Akzo Nobel India Limited since May 2010. He is a former member of the 13th Finance Commission, Government of India and is an alumnus of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and the Delhi School of Economics. As an Edward S Mason Fellow, he did his MPA from the John F Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, USA, and subsequently obtained his PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has represented India in various international conferences, seminars and negotiations. Currently being a member of the Advisory Council of the Asian Development Bank Institute, Tokyo, and with several publications to his credit, Dr Sanjiv is serving as a Director on the Board of Bombay Stock Exchange Limited, Axis Bank Limited and Hindustan Unilever Limited.
