International Yacht Paint has launched Intersleek Pro, foul release technology targeted specifically at the pleasure craft market. It represents a new category of products for the Yacht business, marking a departure from the traditional biocidal antifouling offer.
International Yacht Paint has launched a Micron WA, a premium antifouling range. Micron WA features Water Activated Matrix technology, which allows efficient use of lower copper levels, as well as efficient and effective biocide delivery and substantially reduced patina formation on the hull.

Coatings supplied by International Paint will ensure lasting protection for the east span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. The east span had to be rebuilt after being damaged by an earthquake in 1989.
A group of volunteers from the Felling, UK site of International's Yacht business have started a project to restore a catamaran for the Calvert Trust that will help people with disabilities experience the joy of sailing. The project will take place over 10 days the Felling site.
