As the leading supplier of Marine, Protective and Yacht coatings, our aim is to take the initiative in helping our customers specify and use coatings that reduce:
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Our commitment to producing coatings that anticipate legislation ensures that we take a proactive position in this area. We are committed to a VOC reduction target of 12% over the period 2009 – 2015.
VOC emissions through active technical programmes in the area of water-based and high-solids technology. Our Protective Coatings business has also produced an online VOC Calculator to assist customers in determining their VOC liability.
The use of hazardous materials that may pose a risk to those people working within the coatings industry. We have worked to reduce or eliminate the use of a significant number of these chemical components from our products.
