AkzoNobel’s Annual Report ranked among world’s elite

AkzoNobel’s 2009 Report was one of the best in the world according to e.com’s highly respected Annual Report on Annual Reports.

The company was ranked fourth in the latest global top 300, a massive improvement of 48 places on the previous year. It means AkzoNobel was the best performing Dutch company.

AkzoNobel’s 2009 Report scored particularly well in a number of categories, notably Key Figures, Key Performance Indicators, Business Overview and Sustainability.

The ranking was topped by two Swedish companies – Electrolux and SAS – followed by Austria’s Wienerberger in third.

The main purpose of the Annual Report on Annual Reports is to look for and benchmark best practice in order to strive for higher – and highest – standards in financial and performance reporting, investor and stakeholder information and corporate communication.
