Throughout that time we have been at the forefront of product and service excellence.
Today, through a combination of innovative technology solutions and partnership, we are lowering environmental impact and improving the cost-effectiveness of our customers' processes.
Here are some highlights from our recent history:
1975 - UV inks for metal packaging
1976 - First company to successfully commercialize water-based spray liner for DWI beer and beverage cans
1982 - Liquid and powder sidestripes for welded food cans
1990 - Commercialized EMEA industry standard water-based spray liner for steel DWI beer and beverage cans
1994 - Low energy, low voc UV curable varnish technology for metal decorating
1995 - Dry stamping technology for beverage cans ends
1999 - FAEOE internal system based on patented stabilizer technology
2005 - Water-based high gloss, abrasion resistant externals for aluminium DWI cans
2006 - Unique heat seal technology for metal cans
2007 - Introduced External EOE systems with abrasion resistance to withstand aggressive end seaming
2008 – We join the AkzoNobel family
2008 - New generation of UV varnishes
2009 - Launched w/b internal spray with upgraded adhesion and flexibility to allow further can light weighting / thinner gauge metal
2010 - Acquisition of Lindgens Metal Decorating Coatings and Inks
2011 - Taking part at Metpack in Essen, Germany
2012 - Taking part at Cannex in Guangzhou, China
