AkzoNobel increases price for Dicumyl peroxide worldwide

Effective April 1st 2011, or as contracts allow, AkzoNobel increases by 20% the price for its Perkadox® BC (Dicumyl peroxide) line of products and formulations.
This increase is necessary to help offset the continuous rise in the cost of raw materials, utilities, labor and transportation.
Dicumyl peroxide is used in the production of thermoplastics and the crosslinking of various polymers. AkzoNobel Functional Chemicals produces Dicumyl peroxide at its Ningbo, P.R. China site.
