Flame Retardant Synergists

Perkadox® FR synergists in combination with brominated flame retardants

Perkadox 30 and Perkadox BC act as flame retardant synergists in combination with brominated flame retardants such as Armoquell® FR930.

These products allow for the use of significantly lower amounts of flame retardant agents while maintaining the same level of flame retardancy. Due to their relatively high thermal stability they are particularly suitable for use in polyolefins and polystyrene.

Perkalite® FR100 for combination with mineral flame retardants

Perkalite FR100, a synthetic organoclay, is used in combination with ATH or MDH, thereby allowing the reduction of these mineral flame retardants in compounds or enabling the achievement of better flame retardant ratings.
