Structure
Ketone peroxides are mixtures of several species of peroxides. Commercial MEKP solutions, for example, are composed of three peroxide species useful for the curing of cobalt accelerated unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins:

• 1-methylpropylidene dihydroperoxide
• bis(1-hydroperoxy-1-methylpropyl)peroxide

• hydrogen peroxide

Butanox
If you’re looking for methyl ethyl ketone peroxides then Butanox is the brand of choice. It is the most stable MEKP on the market, with a guaranteed low water content. In North America our MEKP's are offered under the Cadox trademark.

We also supply a cyclic peroxide under the brand name Trigonox 301. It is our latest generation of organic peroxides for CR-PP.
