Perkalite is based on synthetically produced and organically modified layered double hydroxides (LDH). With proper processing, Perkalite can easily be melt dispersed into a polymer and delaminated forming a true nanocomposite, thereby improving:

Perkalite; a cost effective solution
Due to the low addition levels needed, Perkalite offers cost effective solutions for numerous applications.
More and more interest is rising for the application in rubber materials (e.g. car tires and general rubber goods) and other polymers like polystyrene and biodegradable plastics. Or for applications where the ion exchange properties of Perkalite are useful. For example as acid scavenger or reactive filler.
Proper processing of Perkalite is key
