C-C Initiators

Marketed under the name Perkadox® 30, we have a C-C initiator that can be used as an initiator for the free radical (co)polymerization of styrene.

Perkadox 30 also acts an effective flame retardant synergist in combination with brominated flame retardants such as Armoquell FR930. It is mainly used in expandable polystyrene (EPS).

Perkadox 30 allows for the use of significantly lower amounts of flame retardant agents while maintaining the same level of flame retardancy. Due to its relatively high thermal stability Perkadox 30 is particularly suitable for use in polyolefins and polystyrene.
