Sodium Hydrogensulfide - NaSH
AkzoNobel is a major producer of Sodium Hydrogensulfide (NaSH), a high qualified product, which is available in different aqueous solutions (among others 30%, 40%, 42% and 45%).
Sodium Hydrogensulphide is a raw material for the chemical industry, e.g. for the production of thioglycolic acid, cosmetic products and as an auxiliary in the tanning industry and in wastewater treatment, and also for mining (as a depressant to separate copper from molybdenum and as a sulfadizer on oxidized ores). Sodium Hydrogensulfide can be used in different applications. Main applications are:
- In the leather industry
- As a building block for the production of chemical products
- For the filtration of heavy metals
- Cosmetic products
- Copper mining
Transportation and handling of NaSH
NaSH is a hazardous good and has to be handled and transported with care. We take much care for safe handling of our products and we offer a good service with regard to instructions and information about our products to the customer. We offer also the freight service of our home haulier Jan Dohmen in Herkenbosch (NL), who is specialised in international transportation of special chemical products.
