A safe meeting place for both children and parents is how a number of playgrounds in the city of Wloclawek and surrounding villages are now seen.
Employees of Decorative Coatings decided they wanted to get involved in projects which would benefit and improve the lives of children living in some of the district’s most economically or socially deprived areas.
The result was a proposal to install or renovate a number of play areas, including some which are specially adjusted for children with disabilities.
The playgrounds now offer safe and colorful environments for the youngsters to spend time in, enjoying themselves and meeting with friends.
The preparatory phase of the project also saw parents getting involved in the planning and set-up – which in turn resulted in their own social contact and networks in the local communities being extended and improved!
