When Car Refinishes Managing Director in Bangalore, Sudhakar Dantiki, heard that the neighboring elementary Telugu School was plagued by its rather unfortunate proximity to the local market, he decided to give the school a helping hand.

Loyal paint team brightens up school during summer holidays  
A group of employees from AkzoNobel Decorative Paints in Cologne helped to paint and refurbish a local school over the summer holidays, providing a brighter, cleaner and more colorful environment for the children to learn in.

Dreams come true at Doolittle Park 
More than 1,000 community volunteers combined to create a 12,000 square foot community playground in North Moses Lake, Washington — all in just 5 days work.

Getting back in the saddle 
Decorative Paints in Greece (Vivechrom) have played a very active role in their community. One of their projects supported the Therapeutic Riding Association of Greece (TRAG), helping them to get started with some hands-on voluntary work.

Fairytales comes true at Experience Park
AkzoNobel employees from Functional Chemicals in Herkenbosch have cleared up a large area of woodland in Heel to create a stimulating recreational area where disabled people can enjoy the local nature and explore the great outdoors.

A major team effort took place in Argentina when all employees at Decorative Coatings in Buenos Aires teamed up twice. Together with more than 100 university students they helped the capital’s poorest families living in the slums to get a decent roof over their heads.

'LÉcole de la Rue’ ('School of the Street') is an organization aimed at 6 to 18 year olds who have fallen out of the education system and spend much of their time on the local streets. By organizing joint activities, they try to re-establish the link between the children and their families.
