Why work with sustainability issues
We support the definition of Sustainable Development as defined by the UN in the Brundtland report: “development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”.
Without debating how this should exactly be interpreted we assist AkzoNobel in investigating its impact on the planet and identify what needs to be changed in order to move towards a sustainable future. Sustainable Development has become very relevant with the continued population and consumption growth and major problems like climate change and resource scarcity that are looming in the future.
