Function

The Sustainable Development group is part of AkzoNobel Sustainability. The main function of the Sustainable Development group is to provide strategic sustainability support internally. Since we have a lot of experience and knowledge regarding relatively new and complex topics we are able to work efficiently, and explain our practices.
Due to our wide-spread connections within AkzoNobel and other businesses we can bring together people, ideas and knowledge. We can share best practices inside and outside of AkzoNobel.
We function as an expertise centre and we aim to have a neutral role. We offer independent guidance and deliver results according to our group’s high quality standards.
