Within AkzoNobel we cooperate with and give strategic sustainability support to all business units at all levels. This gives us a unique position with extensive knowledge about all parts of the company.
External customers and suppliers
We work with external parties such as: Purac, Arcelor Mittal, ThüssenKrupp Steel AG, Sapa and Greif. We also work for Swedac – the Swedish Board for Accreditation and The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.
Partners
We are involved in a Swedish knowledge sharing network CPM, with partners such as: Chalmers University of Technology, SCA, ABB, SKF, Volvo and IKEA.
TOSCA: EU demonstration project
The TOSCA project is a demonstration project for implementing sustainability within companies and in the value chains. The project is managed by us and co-funded by the EU Life+ Environment programme. A framework with good examples, guidelines and useful tools will be developed.
