Broadly speaking, there are two career paths at Technology & Engineering (T&E): you can advance your career as a technical specialist or as a manager, where your prime responsibility will be to motivate and inspire others. In either case, you will probably be working in collaborative multidisciplinary teams in order to add value to our customers’ business.

This is a fantastic place if you want to work with highly experienced colleagues on state-of-the-art projects and develop your career. T&E functions as a kind of talent factory, coaching and developing engineers with the skills needed to advance the interests of AkzoNobel Business Units.

There are opportunities in project management, engineering, process technology, sustainability, and health safety and environmental compliance as well as in IT, financial control, and administrative support. We also have a Lab that’s dedicated to Environmental Chemistry & Regulatory Affairs in which there are regular openings for toxicologists.

We’re becoming more and more diverse – and more global. We offer an attractive total package, but that's not all. If you join us you will have plenty of opportunities to move vertically up through the T&E organization and/or horizontally across the whole of AkzoNobel.
