What was at stake?
AkzoNobel Powder Coatings needed to enhance safety awareness within the Business Unit worldwide.

What we did
At the request of the Business Unit, we organized on-site workshops, dealing with unsafe situations, at-risk behavior and incidents. We adopted a train-the-trainer approach to empower employees in managing their own and their colleagues' safety.

Added value
We improved safety performance, minimizing incidents and near-misses, while building a stronger safety culture within the Business Unit. Very often, as in this case, reducing the number of incidents leads to a reduction in the costs of non-performance.
