What was at stake?
Several AkzoNobel Business Units in North & South America and Asia, requested assistance with registration according to United Nations transport regulations. The potential of a range of substances for causing various hazards (including fire risks) needed to be professionally assessed.

What we did
We brought in highly expert safety testing teams with intimate knowledge of the customers’ substances, combined with deep insight into their self-heating properties, flammability, and explosive self-reactivity.

We obtained cost-effective registration of a number of substances (including new peroxide emulsions and suspensions) for transport under UN rules.
