A Magazine

Issue 11 of AkzoNobel’s A Magazine has just been published, with the latest edition focusing on the fascinating theme of performance – in all its guises.
Featuring a specially commissioned artwork of jazz legend Ray Charles on the cover, the issue bursts off the blocks by interviewing former athlete Sebastian Coe – the man in charge of the 2012 London Olympics.
Also in this edition, we lift the lid on diverse subjects such as sleep, language and safety, while the company’s Executive Committee member, Marjan Oudeman, talks about getting the best out of your employees.
The artist who created the cover image – speed painter Dan Dunn – gives the lowdown on using paint as performance, plus there’s a look at the role AkzoNobel is playing in the latest attempt to smash the land speed record. We even manage to get ballet star Deborah Bull and rock god Mick Jagger into the same feature. Look out too for a special insert which focuses on a photo contest staged in partnership with the Royal College of Art in London.
A Magazine – which recently won an Astrid Award to add to its growing list of honors – is available via a free subscription in both English and Chinese. Digital versions are also available for download.
