Communities of Practice
A CoP is a group of people interacting and working together across the entire AkzoNobel organization, having a common interest in sharing knowledge and know-how about a topic that is important to them individually and strategically relevant to the company as a whole.
The CoPs provide a mechanism for pooling the knowledge and sharing best practices for the benefit of all involved, enabling us to solve problems and identify opportunities more quickly and cost-effectively by reducing duplication of effort, as well as a mechanism for identifying gaps in our collective knowledge and making recommendations for action at business and AkzoNobel level.
We currently have six CoPs and more are in genesis.
