Our products are used by pulp and paper-making industries around the world. Customers use them for everything from pulping and de-inking right through to coating special paper grades. But we don’t stop there. Our specialty chemicals are used for many other industrial applications as well.

Eka operates worldwide, employing 2,900 people in 30 countries. We specialize in pulp and paper-making chemicals, but we also offer specialty products that might eventually find their way into hospitals, offices and shoe shops.

We don’t just supply chemicals. We also assist our customers in every area of their operations – from managing their chemicals inventory to designing and optimizing their processes.

Specialty products

Kromasil is a range of silica-based products used for purifying pharmaceuticals, especially peptides such as insulin.

Expancel® microspheres are microscopic plastic particles filled with gas. They’re used for everything from injection-moulded PVC soles for shoes, to printing ink, explosives, paper and board.
