Nitrocellulose (NC) Coatings

Nitrocellulose coatings are used extensively in the furniture industry due to their “user friendliness” and the ability to be applied by multiple coats, particularly when used in conjunction with various color applications such as NGR stains, overall stains, sap stains, toners, fillers, wiping stains and glazes. Nitrocellulose coating systems are easily repaired throughout the finishing process. Rubbing and polishing are easily accomplished.
