Account Manager (f/m)
The BU Pulp and Performance Chemicals is the leading global supplier of bleaching chemicals used in pulp manufacture, and performance chemicals used for.
The SBU Specialty Product Units consist of three separate and independent units. Each unit has their own characteristics and complexity.
Expancel - Expancel® microspheres are used as additives to reduce the weight and improve the properties of printing inks, paper, polyester, plastics, mining explosives, underbody coating, plus many more applications.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop sales of Expancel microspheres in the region
- Deliver sales according to budget
- Identify business growth opportunities and follow up
- Focus on new application such as Nonwoven and Thermoplastics application
- Direct contact with customers in the field, representing AkzoNobel in a professional manner

Your Qualifications:
- Uni versity or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in chemical engineering or chemistry or commercial degree with strong technical background (technical sales)
- Good techno-commercial knowledge
- Profound working experience preferred
- Collaborative cross-functional team player
- Ability to work in a global, matrix, and multicultural environment.
- Ability to regularly travel across the region
- Business fluent in German and English and French or Spanish
