Job Context

Support both Shipping and Receiving functions within the Production Services area and maintain both the warehouse and facility.

Key Objectives/Principal Accountabilities

• Support the standards and values of AkzoNobel.
• Complete all training modules.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license in order to operate the company truck for pick-ups and deliveries.
• Assist on boxing, pulling and preparing outbound shipments.
• Assist in unloading incoming freight, proper labelling, inventory, and distribute to the correct department.
• Assist Production Services Tech II, III or Laminating Leader to provide the machines with proper and adequate approved materials.
• Operate all warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counting as required by Finance.
• Conduct a monthly packing material inventory.
• Maintain the warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Actively participate in all recycling efforts and programs.
• Assist and participate with other areas in order to develop a good communication process.
• Maintain a good personal safety work record by attending safety training/meetings and adhering to sound safety practices.
• Perform daily OSHA safety checklist on forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Work overtime as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Monthly safety training sessions
• Participate in all recycling efforts.
