- Responsible for sales, business development and promotion of Sulfur Products (CS2, Thiocyanates, Thioplast, NaSH, etc.) in China:
- 1.Study the market structure, size, demand & growth drivers, players, regulatory environment, etc. all possible facets to have a solid understanding of business environment for all Sulfur products in China. 
- 2.Establish, maintain and develop customer relationships directly or together with agents or/distributors, business partners, internal/external stakeholders as required.
- 3.Negotiation of all contracts, terms and conditions and settlement of all claims.
- 4.Financially assess, review and define pricing to maximize margins & market share targets.
- 5.Prepare and deploy regional plans for GROWTH. Prepare sales to CM budget, LVs etc.
- 6.Manage and improve the cost budget for all S&D items including warehousing, inland transportation, packaging etc. 
- 7.Prepare a sales strategy and execute sales of sulfur derivatives in China.  
- •Provide Technical support to Chinese customers, forwarders etc., and deploy emergency response. 
- Actively promote AkzoNobel’s product and technology by educating customers. Make marketing plan and deploy marketing strategy. Engage with regulatory authorities and government/non-government bodies. 
- Gather regional Business Intelligence and share across the business as per available guidelines.
- Active member of the Regional Team.  Assists with data input for demand forecasts and helps in the planning and development of business. 
- Ensure all AN Corporate Compliance and Business initiatives are adhered to and safety programs are upheld.
- Engage with Chinese suppliers for procurement of Sulfur Products
- Identify suppliers; establish sustainable relationships leveraging AkzoNobel knowhow, best practices and brand image. 
- Assist Business Manager and Global Product Manager(s) in driving China sourcing strategy with the suppliers. 
- Assess the opportunities and provide inputs for evolving China strategy.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

- Native Mandarin speaker, Good command over English language, reading, writing & comprehension; A Chemistry graduate or Chemical Engineer with a Master Degree in Sales & Marketing domain.; 
- 5-7 years related experience in sales, marketing, business development under Chemical product selling environment; 
- Proficient with SAP, MS Excel, Power Point, BW, and other analytical tools; 
- Working knowledge of Contracts Laws; 
- Highly driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit, and achievement orientation;  
- Good Interpersonal Skills; 
- Willingness to travel & learn; 
- S trong team player.
