- 2 main kinds of jobs in the respective region:
- First is on marketing activities for Mod retail (DDC), and the other is on executing trade marketing plans for other channel members (eg OTC etc)
- The 1st job involves conceptualization and execution; whereas the 2nd job involves execution
- Hence, 65% of his time to be spent on DDC, and 35% on executing marketing plans for other channel members.
Measurable KPIs in DDC:
- Leads generated from micro marketing activity à as a measure of success
- Secondaries generated from DDC . Same store secondary growth. ZM to ensure commensurate primaries.
- Training of DDC manpower – KAO, RO. Training of contractors & painters of DDC.
- Maintaining Store layouts.
- Custodian of new DDCs. Ensure new stores opened are as per procedure
Also, the following are the important things:
- Growing existing DDC – do the right mix of micro marketing for them (alignment with DDC & Sales team necessary)
- Sharing upfront the full year/ quarterly  micro marketing activity calendar with DDC
- Ensuring that offshore resources – RO – are motivated to perform their jobs
- Ensuring  all R.Os undergo the evaluation process & talent is shown a career path
- Custodian of new DDC as per SOP laid down.
