- Preparing annual business plan in line with Business targets and market developments
- Implementation, follow up and monthly reporting of business plan progress
- Quarterly update of annual business plan and suggestion of improvements
- Collection, collation and interpretation of business intelligence
- Building, training, management and motivation of regional sales teams
- Manage customer relationships and requirements in line with the “Peerless service concept” and our ESD/EA strategy.
- Support all corporate and Business projects and development initiatives (MM, PD)
- Ensure that all Akzo Nobel corporate directives, guidelines and principals (competition compliance etc.) are strictly adhered to throughout the organization.
- Sales contacts with representatives of companies of various sizes and at a variety of levels
- Cross functional contact with all levels within the Business on a regular basis.
- Interaction with internal central and regional logistics teams and external logistic suppliers
- Contact with regional regulatory and other statutory authorities  
- Membership of trade and professional associations.

Key Academic merits and work experience
- Master´s degree or above in chemistry or related field

- 8-10 years working experience from similar positions

- Collaborative cross-functional team player

- Ability to work in multicultural environment

- Fluent in Mandarin verbal/writing in combination with professional English verbally/writing

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

- Good communication skills

- Good analytical skills, can-do attitude
