Responsibility

- Sales & Business development for Packaging Coatings Business within designated territory
- Interact with potential and existing customers and expand the customer base by mapping our presence with the various customers vis-à-vis the market
- Discover and develop customers from market platform to buying platform.
- Assist Business Manager in strategizing and for developing the targets markets and grow business in chosen spheres.
- Maintain sales data and comparisons with budget.
- Liaise with customers’ technical teams for product development and establish the product.
- Provide technical service to all the customers in the respective sector and in the designated territories.
- To follow commercial transactions.
- Monitor activity with key customers and change emphasis as appropriate in consultation with the Business Manager to achieve desired goals
- Handling all product trials and complaints.
- Maintain data on product performance and product movement.
- Understand and report the market prices in the region
- Maintain contacts at all levels with existing and potential customers
- Provide necessary inputs on competition & their offerings through good market intelligence 
- Ensure receivables from customers are as per terms and all collections
- Manage collection of appropriate sales tax forms
- Understand & comply with the statutory health & safety policies of Akzo Nobel

Job requirements/Candidate profile

- BE/ BTec / Chemistry Degree/PG-Chemistry/ Diploma/Degree in Printing/Packaging     
- PG Diploma in Marketing & Sales Management Allied fields is preferred
- 4 + years of post-qualification, hands-on professional experience in B2B selling role/s.
- Prior packaging coatings/allied business/technical experience preferred.
- Industrial Selling Experience in Packaging Coatings / Inks – preferred.
