- Monitor deliveries, ensuring customer on time and in full status and maintain all transportation and received goods documentation as required per local and federal regulations
- Provide back-up and share daily activities with the Logistics Specialist II
- Check for and communicate logistic deviations and change requests to appropriate personnel 
- Update the daily shipment log as needed
- Confirm outbound orders for tankers
- Attend daily morning meeting and give update on logistics information
- Perform physical inventory of rail cars on the Morris site storage tracks and update track sheet
- Organize work instructions and switch instructions from area leads on moves that are required
- Print up waybills for newly arrived cars
- Enter all the newly arrived and departing rail cars in SAP and file paperwork
- Create/Update BOL in SAP for outbound shipments: correct car information, seals, SLOC and SAP weight
- Process RMA when product is returned to the site and receive back in to SAP.
- Verify the cars that are in possession at offsite railcar storage and update the Track Sheet including switch, updated inventory
- Update demurrage log.
- Log interplant moves and set-backs.
- Release cars going out on the next day switch and order in new cars
- Provide monthly accrual to site controller for rail road transportation costs
- Update carrier contact list

Job requirements/Candidate profile

- Must have experience within an office environment and knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced and pressured environment
- Must be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external colleagues and clients and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to efficiently solve problems relating to the transportation of goods both domestically and internationally
- Physical demands: Must be able to access all areas of site property including the top of structures
- Experience in SAP preferred
- Familiarity with DOT and other regulatory aspects preferred
- High School diploma / GED required.  Associate degree a plus
