The Program Management Office (PMO) Manager keeps the Lean Six Sigma program running strong and on track as the central hub for training, CI Experts recruitment, program management support and communications about the program and running projects. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Production OTIF - Maintain the standardized, validated, and accepted production OTIF measurement system for all sites
• Lean Six Sigma PMO - Assists in the development of program resources for the global Lean Six Sigma program and be the owner of these resources.
o Supports the Lean Six Sigma Program Director as required to grow and sustain the program.
o Actively works to maintain Lean Six Sigma costs according to the annual budget set by the Program Director. Handles the program purchase orders and aggressively seeks quality services for the program at the best price, using Procurement assistance as needed and per policy.
o Provides general support as required to all Lean Six Sigma team members; act as the team focal point for first contact.
o Coordinates with HR, Communications and other functions as required to accomplish responsibilities.
o Coordinates with the AkzoNobel Academy and other BUs on L6S activities and, where possible, pro-actively seek opportunities for improvement/alignment.
o Travels to regional locations as required for overall responsibilities and to promote Lean Six Sigma.
o Organizes training at all levels for Black, Green Belts, managers and employees including but not limited to venues/facilities, materials, housing, language translation and all needed support.
o Supports the CI Master Managers in developing new program content, arranging training and development for Black Belts, organizing workshops for employees and in general, realizing the goals of the Lean Six Sigma program.
o As required, directly participates in the delivery of training to support the Lean Six Sigma program.
o Provides set up support and on-boarding training for all new Lean Six Sigma team members.
o Leads central communication activities through the L6S SharePoint, Yammer, internal sites and newsletters and monitor communications for consistency. Ensure that Black Belt projects are properly communicated on per L6S protocol, have effective plans for Black Belt recruitment and drive positive L6S messaging in the BU and AkzoNobel at large.
o Actively promotes L6S via presentations to groups, newsletter articles and participation in workshop and conferences (internal and external).
o Supports Management Team and Program Director in the project prioritization and selection process that occurs several times per year and help to effectively communicate.
o Coordinates with the CI Master Managers in tracking the status of the active and closed Black Belt projects and monitor that closed projects are documented on the L6S SharePoint. Maintains easy access open SharePoint knowledge base of completed projects for rapid replication on other sites.
o Runs own Green Belt improvement projects approximately 20% of time, as directed by the Program Director, to improve BU, to understand L6S and to develop own skills.
• AkzoNobel Tracking System (ANTS) SPOC (Single Point Of Contact)
o Provide user support in the form of important updates and technical support as needed on a regular basis
o Provide financial analyses of KPIs to OLT and BUMT as required
o Maintain contact with BASC SPOC and continue to implement best practices
o Perform all ancillary activities required of ANT SPOC in BU SC
o Help drive achievement of €30 million goal by regularly tracking progress toward goal and enforcing data entry and quality
o Manages the global operational support for BU SC the Lean Six Sigma program.
• Key Process Indicators (KPI) and Business Process Management
o Collect, compile, analyze, and report monthly KPI Scoreboard before OLT meetings
o Enforce compliance with KPI reporting cadence among sites, ensuring data accuracy and quality
o Maintain the business process metrics dashboard

Job requirements/Candidate profile

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related area of study.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in Project Management, Operations and/ or Supply Chain.
• At least two years’ professional Lean Six Sigma experience.
• Good knowledge & understanding of project management and Lean Six Sigma. Prior CI Advanced Practitioner (Green Belt) certification would be an advantage. CI Expert certification (Black Belt) required once in position.
• Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, ANT, SAP)
• Advanced understanding of AkzoNobel internal processes.
• Awareness of financial analysis, AkzoNobel budgeting and accounting processes.
• Open to innovation, change and ability to work in a flexible work environment.
• Able to impart knowledge and learn quickly.
• Capable planner, able to prioritize short and long term work.
• Good analytical skills.
• Demonstrated high performance levels and ability to multi task in fast paced environment.
