Account Manager Europe (m/f)
 
 
 
Your challenges
 
- In this role you are responsible for the sales of additives for polymers, primarily in Germany but forming part of the Sales Team for Europe, Middle East, India and Africa
- Within this context you aim to grow sales with existing accounts and make sure to develop new business opportunities at new customers
- Furthermore it is your responsibility to close deals with accounts in your area, and to negotiate on price, payments terms and commercial conditions
- As a strong networker with very good communications skills you are able to build long-term relationships with your customers and visit potential and existing customers on a regular basis
- At all times you provide feedback to internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- You provide reliable sales forecasts to ensure proper product availability planning
- Twice per year you draw up a detailed territory plan for your area including market overview, tactical plans, targets etc.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

 
Your Profile
 
- University or Bachelor degree in Science, preferably chemistry, polymer chemistry  or chemical engineering
- Additional education in economics or MBA would be valuable
- At least 2-4 years of (technical) sales experience in a b2b environment
- Solid knowledge of Polymer market is a plus
- You have excellent skills in German and English, any other European language is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills (pro-active, motivated, ambitious and open minded)
- You are willing to travel ( around 50%)
- Strong computer skills  with ability to use spreadsheet, database, presentation, and word processing software
