• Assess requirements of manufacturers of rubber and thermoplastic composite materials to identify new customers, new products, and new applications for the company’s cross-linking peroxide products.
• Assess requirements of manufacturers of thermoset composite materials to identify new customers, new products, and new applications for the company’s thermoset peroxide products.
• Assess requirements of pharmaceutical manufacturers of topical prescription and OTC drugs to identify new customers, new products, and new applications for the company’s non-polymer organic peroxide products.
• Assess requirements of manufacturers of rubber and thermoplastic composite materials to identify new customers, new products, and new applications for the company’s polymer additive products.
• Collaborate with customers’ procurement, logistics, and product development teams to determine their needs for customized solutions from the company’s portfolio of cross-linking peroxide, thermoset peroxide, polymer additive, and pharmaceutical active products.
• Keep up-to-date account profiles on key customers, including customer capacity and process information, products and quantities purchased as well as competitors’ information.
• Record and file visit reports and new business opportunities in CRM system.
• Prepare, gain approval for, and deliver price quotes. Investigate new business potential of all requested samples.
• File periodic expense account submissions and engage in contract negotiations.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

• Master's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field,
• Two (2) years of experience in sales or account management of pharmaceutical active ingredients, cross-linking peroxides, thermoset peroxides, and thermoplastic polymer additive products.
• In the alternative, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus five (5) years of experience as described above.
• Travel within the US up to 70% of working time.
