The Regional Linings Manager is responsible for developing and driving the linings business within is the assigned geography. This will be completed through direct sales, mentoring direct sales force and influencing others. Duties include, project tracking, specification writing, product positioning and as well as establishing and maintaining relationships at the Owner and EPC level. The customer base includes but is not limited to Engineers, Owners, EPC’s, Fabricators, OEMs and select customers involved in the writing, developing or influencing specifications for linings, secondary containment and grouting in both new construction and maintenance and repair markets.
The Regional Specialist is responsible for:
- Managing the linings growth of sales value while concurrently achieving margin levels acceptable to the business.
- Identification, engagement and closing of lining opportunities within the markets the business has selected as target markets.
- Dialog related to lining opportunities, targets and activities during the scheduled Regional  conference calls or meetings.
- Identify all sales opportunities and works with PC Reps, Regional Sales Managers, Engineering Solutions Managers, Key Account Mangers (Regional and Global), and the NAM Linings Manager to develop actions and tactics.
- Identify current accounts that require further development and work with PC Sales Representatives to develop strategy and Value Proposition Sales opportunities.
- Identify and drive innovation relative to opportunities for new products

  Identification and Management of the Linings opportunities within  the assigned regional area, and outside the area as required to secure projects and sales while assuring the correct appropriate actions are taken to provide our customers (internal and external) with the service, support, information and products that assist in their success.
Maintain and develop Linings Targets and Sales Plan, provide forecasting as required with effective and timely communication on all projects and packages.  All Targets in OnePlace with regular updates of Projects and Packages.
Other duties as assigned.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

General requirements: 
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years focused exclusive to Tank Linings and Secondary Containment Market in Gulf Coast greater Houston market.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in top down owner selling
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in high performance coatings industry, specific to two component technology
- NACE Level 1 certification
Additional requirements: 
- College/University degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in CRC – Corrosion Resistant Coatings
- Good understanding of Chemical exposure and related impact
- Good interpersonal skills
- Comprehension and ability to work within matrix management
- Strong computer skills
- Team building skills
