Your Challenges:
- In this role you are responsible for building strong long-term relationships with customers in Germany and Europe in order to increase market shares, value and margin,
- You will influence specifications with owners, engineers, EPC’s and technology owners (OEM’s), and follow contract chain to track and help secure sales based on defending specification position at all levels,
- Provide technical advice on coating specifications to up sell solutions and bring new coatings technology to customers,
- Make sure to create a project pipeline, manage customers and track project packages through our CRM system,
- Monitor and understand the activities of our competitors and develop new business opportunities in Europe,
- He or she reports to the Global Key Account Manager Mining and need to liaise with the Mining KAM and sales teams, both locally and in all parts of the world, to achieve mining sales growth targets.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

Your Profile:
- University or Bachelor degree in Science, Engineering or any technical degree is preferred,
- Expert in coating or industrial markets with a minimum of 3 years technical  expertise in sales and managing key accounts within the coatings PC/Industrial markets,
- Experience of the OEM business and mining market would be valuable,
- Nace or FROSIO qualification is preferred,
- Able to develop strong relationships with customers, as well as “equipped” with strong communication, organizational and analytical skills,
- Working as part of a global team you need to have the skills to adjust your approach both internally and with customer by considering cultural differences and language barriers/challenges
- Must be able to demonstrate being able to work remotely with colleagues
- Solid communication skills in German and English is required,
- Strong interpersonal skills (pro-active, self-starter, driven to exceed goals, high motivation)
- Good computer skills (MS-Office, CRM, web-based systems),
- Must have driving license for passenger cars.
This position will be based in Germany, The city will be discussed with potential candidates.
